Angeles City is a 1st class city in the province of Pampanga, Philippines (location: 15°08'40?N, 120°35'30?E). It is near the Clark International Airport and Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ) (formerly Clark Air Base). It also has a significant red-light district in the Fields Avenue area.
According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 263,971 people in 55,769 households.
Economy
The economy of Angeles City has accelerated in the past decade driven by advances in global communication technology and the finishing of a modern highway that tremendously improved trade and transport.
Angeles has a cottage industry that includes Rattan furniture production. It also includes the production of coconuts, charcoal, and briquettes. It also has a semiconductor industry involved in the manufacturing of electronics and computers.

HOW TO GET THERE
Genesis Transport Service, Inc.
In the Philippines, land transportation is ably provided by the Genesis Transport Service, Inc. Genesis provides air-conditioned transport from Pampanga to Metro Manila and vice-versa via its Metro Manila to Bataan routes. These trips passes through the City of San Fernando then onwards via the Olongapo-Gapan Highway to Bataan, thereby passing through Guagua, Bacolor and Lubao in the process.
There are several trips a day, starting at 1.30 A.M. in the morning in its Pasay City Terminal in Metro Manila or 4:00 A.M. in its Avenida Terminal in Manila, and one leaving every 30 minutes thereafter till 8.00 P.M. At the other end, in its provincial terminals, the trips commence similarly for trips to Manila.
An array of mini-buses, jeepneys, and tricycles fill the gaps in the intermunicipal road with the City of San Fernando, Pampanga as the Terminal point.
GETTING AROUND PAMPANGA
To get around Pampanga's municipalities, if one does not have a vehicle, there are numerous tricycles and jeepneys around for hire.
Minimum fare is Php 10 Pesos (US .20 Cents) around the municipalities of Pampanga.
